Fonts

From ubuntu forums: If you're using Gutsy, go to *System*, *Preferences*,
*Appearance*.  Then click on the *Fonts* tab:

- Then click *Details*.  Under *Hinting*, click *none*...
- Under rendering, select Subpixel Smoothing (LCDs)
