Download, install and run the `ClearType Tuner PowerToy`_...

After installation, the *Tuner* can be run from the *Windows Control Panel*.

Consolas
--------

Download and install the
`Consolas Font Pack for Microsoft Visual Studio 2005`_...

**Note:**

- You will want to install and run the *ClearType Tuner PowerToy* (see above).

  details on *how to change the font used by Windows Command Prompt*...

Vista
=====

Vista includes the Consolas font by default and, I guess, the ClearType Tuner
is not required.
