Setup

Windows

Note: The Mercurial web site suggests using Easy Install but this depends on having the Visual C++ compiler installed.

Download

Download Mercurial-0.9.5.exe from http://www.selenic.com/mercurial/wiki/index.cgi/BinaryPackages

Install

Run the installer, I installed to:

C:\tools\Mercurial\

If you tick the box, C:\\tools\\Mercurial is added to the Path environment variable.
